Subasana Basnet

Subasana Basnet serves as a Registration and Accreditation Management Consultant at UN Climate Change since September 2022, facilitating registration services for UNFCCC conferences and leading improvements in the Online Registration System (ORS). Prior experience includes a role as Media Liaison Assistant during the Bonn Climate Change Conference and as a Database Review Consultant at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. Subasana also holds significant experience in environmental projects, having worked as a Junior Environment Specialist with the Ministry of Agriculture Development on a World Bank initiative and contributing to the COVID-19 WASH response as a MEAL Intern with Noble Compassionate Volunteers. Academic achievements include a Master’s degree in Geography of Environmental Risks and Human Security from the University of Bonn and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Fergusson College. Subasana is currently pursuing a Professional Diploma in Digital Learning Design at the Digital Learning Institute.
