Tan Copsey

Tan Copsey currently serves as the Strategic Communications Advisor at UN Climate Change since October 2023. Prior to this role, Tan held the position of Senior Director for Projects and Partnerships at Climate Nexus from April 2017 to November 2023. Experience also includes serving as Director and Communications Director for the Risky Business Project from March 2015 to March 2017, and as Head of Communications and Senior Communications Manager for the New Climate Economy Project from January 2014 to March 2015. Tan's background features a role as Research Manager for the Climate Asia project at BBC Media Action from June 2011 to January 2014, Development Manager at China Dialogue from April 2007 to July 2011, and Editorial Assistant at openDemocracy from September 2006 to April 2007. Tan Copsey holds a Master of Arts in Politics from The University of Auckland, earned between 2000 and 2005.
