Hidenobu Tokuda

Hidenobu Tokuda serves as an Associate Economic Affairs Officer at UNCTAD since September 2020, having previously held the same title at ECLAC Caribbean from January 2018 to September 2020. Before joining ECLAC, Hidenobu worked at Mizuho Research Institute Ltd. for over eight years in various roles including Senior Economist/Coordinator, Senior Economist, and Economist. Hidenobu also gained experience as a Policy Researcher at the Cabinet Office of the Government of Japan from April 2007 to July 2009 while seconded from Mizuho Research Institute Ltd. Hidenobu began their career as an Economist at Mizuho Research Institute Ltd. in April 2006 after earning a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of Tokyo in 2006.
