Leticia Guimaraes

Leticia Guimaraes serves as a Senior Global Technical Advisor on Carbon Markets and Climate Finance for Forests at UNDP since July 2019, providing policy and technical advice on climate finance, REDD+, and carbon markets to countries worldwide, with a focus on Latin America. Additionally, Leticia is an LULUCF Expert for the UNFCCC, contributing to technical assessments for various countries. Previous roles include Chief Technical Advisor for UNDP Cambodia, Manager at the Brazilian Ministry of Environment, and Consultant for organizations such as The World Bank and Climate Focus. Leticia holds a Master's in Environmental Policy and Ecological Economics from the University of Maryland, and has degrees in Environmental Technology, Law, and International Relations from Brazilian universities.
