Davide Storti has been with UNESCO since July 1998, currently serving as the coordinator for the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), focusing on discussions around the digital divide and the promotion of ICTs for global development. Storti has held various roles, including Knowledge Manager, facilitating project coordination for IT platforms, and coordinator for the YouthMobile Initiative, which empowers youth through computer science education. As FOSS Programme Manager, Storti promoted Free and Open Source Software, and worked as a Desk Officer for Arab States and Europe, managing liaison efforts and web content. Additionally, Storti contributed to the development of CDS/ISIS software as Project Manager and served on the Governing Board of the ISSN International Centre from 1998 to 2023. Storti holds a Diploma in Applied Informatics from the University of Pisa, Italy.
