Essam Shohayeb

Essam Shohayeb has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as General Manager at UNIPHARMA Egypt since June 2016. Prior to this role, Essam held various positions at Novartis from October 1993 to June 2016, including Head of Mature Brands & Outsourcing and Pharmacy Promotion, where responsibilities encompassed all sales and marketing activities related to mature brands in Egypt. Additional roles at Novartis included Head of Mature Brands, Alex Zone Manager, Sales Manager for Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar, as well as District Manager and Medical Sales Representative. Essam holds a Master of Business Administration with a marketing major from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (2003-2006), a Diploma in Virology Science from Cairo University (1994-1995), and a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine from Cairo University (1987-1991).
