Gareth Farr

Gareth Farr is a seasoned professional in data science and management with extensive experience in the banking and financial services industry. Currently serving as the Head of Data Science and AI at HypoVereinsbank - UniCredit - Deutschland, Gareth previously held various significant positions at Absa Group, including Co-Head of Data Management and Lead of CIB Data, as well as Senior Assistant Vice President at Barclays Investment Bank. Additionally, Gareth has experience as a Consultant in Global Business Transformation and Product Manager in Consumer Lending at Absa Group. Academically, Gareth holds a Master's degree in Security Studies and a Bachelor's Honours degree in Financial Management with a focus on Corporate Finance, both from the University of Pretoria.
