Carolina Lombardi is an accomplished academic and clinician with extensive experience in sleep medicine and neurophysiopathology. Currently an Associate Professor at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca since June 2020, Carolina also serves as a member of the European Science Foundation College of Expert Reviewers and as a professor of a Master teaching course on Sleep Medicine at Università di Bologna. Carolina's involvement with the European Space Agency includes reviewing projects related to Human Space Flight and Space Science. Since 2005, Carolina has led the Sleep Disorder Center at Istituto Auxologico. Previous roles include medical researcher positions at both Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca and Università di Siena. Carolina holds a Doctoral Degree in Sleep Medicine and a Medical Degree with honors from Università di Siena, and is currently a Resident Doctor in Neurophysiopathology at the same institution.
