E. Peter Alvarez

E. Peter Alvarez is currently the Chair at Union Capital Boston. Prior to this, they served as a Private Equity and Corporate Law Senior Associate at Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP from May 2016 to May 2021. E. was also a Private Equity and Corporate Law Associate at Locke Lord LLP from October 2014 to April 2016. In addition, they worked as a Summer Associate at Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP from May 2013 to August 2013.

From January 2013 to May 2013, Alvarez served as a Legislative Intern for Massachusetts Senate Majority Leader Stan Rosenberg. In this role, they researched legislative priorities such as state income taxes, income inequality, and technology to increase constituent engagement. E. also participated in meetings with constituents, lobbyists, advocates, and government officials; wrote reports on legislative matters; attended hearings; and proposed an initiative to increase constituent engagement by utilizing social media.

In June 2012, Alvarez interned in the Law Department for the City of Boston.

E. Peter Alvarez attended Boston College for their Bachelor of Arts, where they studied English Language and Literature/Letters. E. then attended Boston University School of Law for their Juris Doctor.
