Darren Jenkins II

Darren Jenkins II has extensive experience in social services, currently serving as a Human Services Specialist with Union County, New Jersey since November 2017. In this role, Darren manages a caseload of approximately 700 clients, conducts daily face-to-face interviews, and evaluates data to determine eligibility for public assistance programs, while also providing families with information to achieve self-sufficiency. Previous positions include Program Coordinator and Senior Case Manager at the New Jersey Association on Corrections, and Disaster Case Manager with Middlesex County Long Term Recovery Group. Earlier in the career, Darren held various roles focused on case management and child welfare, beginning as a Care Manager at F. A. C. T. and including a position as a Childcare Counselor at Bonnie Brae Farms School For Boys. Darren holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Norfolk State University, obtained between 2001 and 2006.
