The Union County Sheriff’s Office is headquartered at 3370 Presson Road, Monroe, NC 28112. The UCSO is a full-service law enforcement agency, meaning we provide the full range of law enforcement services for our citizens, including: Patrol, Jail, Civil Process, Criminal Investigation and Animal Services. Our county is 643 square miles in area. Union County has been recognized as the fastest growing county in the state, and one of the fastest growing counties in the nation.

The Law Enforcement Team at the Union County Sheriff's Office is responsible for maintaining public safety and upholding the law within Union County. This team conducts patrol operations, criminal investigations, crime scene analysis, and ensures effective field training. Comprising dedicated roles such as the Sheriff, Chief Deputy Sheriff, Sergeant, Deputy Sheriffs, and specialized investigators, they work collaboratively to provide comprehensive law enforcement services to the community.
