Michael Coulter

Michael Coulter is an experienced editorial and production professional with a diverse background in publishing and media. Currently serving as an Associate Editor at Union Square & Co. since July 2023, Michael previously held the role of Associate Producer at Realm from July 2020 to April 2023, where responsibilities included managing narrative fiction podcasts and evaluating submissions for acquisition. Prior experience at Scholastic involved overseeing a range of editorial projects as an Editor in Book Clubs Product Development from October 2013 to July 2020. Early career roles included Editorial Assistant at Penguin Group USA, Cross-Channel & Rights Assistant at Scholastic, and Freelance Proofreader at Skyhorse Publishing. Michael began a career in journalism as a Staff Reporter for The Michigan Daily, holding a Bachelor's Degree in English Language & Literature and History from the University of Michigan, followed by a focus on Copyediting and Proofreading from New York University.
