Richard L. Baum

Mr. Baum has served on the board as Chairman since their inception in 2013. Richard joined Taglich Private Equity, LLC in 2005 and currently sits on the boards of BG Staffing, Inc. (NYSE American: BGSF) and five private portfolio companies of Taglich Private Equity. Prior to joining Taglich Private Equity, Mr. Baum led a group that purchased a private equity portfolio from Transamerica. From 1998 to 2003, Mr. Baum was a Managing Director in the small business merger and acquisition practices of Wachovia Securities and its predecessor, First Union Securities. From 1988 through 1998, Mr. Baum was a Principal with the Mid-Atlantic Companies, Ltd., a financial services firm focused on succession planning for high net worth business owners and their families (First Union purchased Mid-Atlantic in 1998). Mr. Baum received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Drexel University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
