Lou Capparelli

Lou Capparelli is the Head of ESG at UniSuper, overseeing Environmental, Social, and Governance management across investment portfolios since July 2015. Responsibilities include engaging with companies on ESG issues, collaborating with investors for enhanced ESG integration, and advising on AGM voting. Prior to UniSuper, Lou held key roles at Evans and Partners as Head of Research, BlackRock Investment Management as Director, and Goldman Sachs JBWere as Partner and Senior Analyst, achieving high rankings in media and small company analysis. Early experience includes a solicitor role at Freehills. Lou holds a BCom/LLB (Honours) from the University of Melbourne, a Graduate Diploma from the Financial Services Institute of Australia, and completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
