Karl Nilsson

Karl Nilsson has accumulated extensive experience in financial management and business control across prominent firms. Currently serving in the Group FP&A and CFO Office at EQT Partners/EQT AB since February 2019, Karl has previously held the position of Group Business Controller at Telia Company from January 2017 to February 2019. Earlier, Karl was a Manager at KPMG Transaction Services, focusing on financial due diligence for private equity clients, and also served as Senior Associate and Associate within the same firm. A notable secondment to the Capital Raising team at EQT Partners occurred in 2015, contributing to the EQT VII fundraise. Karl's professional beginnings include roles as a Sales Manager & Co-founder of HHGS Handels Rekrytering AB and various internships. Academically, Karl holds an MSc in Strategic Management Accounting & Financial Management from the University of Gothenburg, along with a BSc in Business Administration, and an exchange degree in Business Administration from the University of Sydney.
