Ryan Alonso

Ryan Alonso, CPL has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Staff Landman at Unit Petroleum Company since March 2013. In this role, Ryan oversees all assets from a land standpoint in the Midland district, focusing on small acquisitions and divestitures while managing various agreements and proposals. Prior experience includes working as a Landman at BHP Billiton Petroleum, where Ryan specialized in the Haynesville Shale play and collaborated with engineers and geologists to enhance acreage positions. Previous roles also include positions at El Paso and Pioneer Natural Resources Company, with a foundational internship at Pioneer that provided insight into land management responsibilities. Ryan holds a BBA in Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma.
