Leah Dejenu is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in community development and management training. Currently serving as a Community Development Organizer at the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) since December 2022, Leah also works as a Management Trainer at Public One GmbH and as a Certified Local Coach with EthicalCoach since 2017. Previous experience includes the role of Business Development Manager at R&D Group and Research Assistant at NorQuest College, where involvement in the "Building a Better Life" project focused on improving the lives of marginalized communities. Leah's foundational experience as a Youth Coordinator for Africa Centre's TheComeUp collective emphasized empowering young people of African and Afro-Caribbean descent. Leah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature/Letters and Middle Eastern and African Studies from the University of Alberta.
