Prachi Shevgaonkar

Prachi Shevgaonkar is the Founder and CEO of Cool The Globe, a climate action app that empowers individuals to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, Prachi serves as the Next Generation India Lead Fellow at the United Nations Foundation, focusing on youth leadership under the Our Future Agenda program. Current roles also include Climate Change Advisor at TATA Power, a member of the Board of Advisors for Climate Leadership Coalition, and COP27 Young Scholar with the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change in India. Recognized as the Changemaker of the Year 2022 by businessline and appointed as a UNICEF Climate Action Youth Advocate, Prachi co-founded Wide Eyes and previously held positions as a youth fellow at Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries & Agriculture and a communication consultant at TATA InnoVerse. Prachi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Symbiosis Centre for Media & Communication, completed in 2019.
