Stella Ngotho

Stella Ngotho is a seasoned professional in human rights with extensive experience in both consulting and managerial roles. Currently serving as a Business and Human Rights Africa Consultant at the United Nations Human Rights since June 2024, Stella previously held the position of Human Rights Manager at Kakuzi Plc from March 2021 to May 2024. In this role, responsibilities included the development and review of internal policies to implement human rights standards effectively, including creating a Human Rights Policy and conducting assessments. Stella's earlier experience spans over a decade at the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights in various capacities, including Senior Human Rights Officer focusing on business and human rights, and gender issues. Academic qualifications include a Master of Laws in Sustainable International Development from the University of Washington, an Advanced Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and a Bachelor of Laws with honors from Moi University.
