Jiayu Li

Jiayu Li is an experienced conference interpreter currently employed as a staff interpreter at the United Nations Office at Nairobi since January 2022. As a member of AIIC - The International Association of Conference Interpreters since October 2016, Jiayu Li has also worked as a freelance conference interpreter for the United Nations and in various freelance capacities from August 2010 to December 2019. Notable interpretation engagements include major international events like the World Economic Forum, Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, and the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games Bid Committee, working with clients such as Google, FedEx, and BMW. Academic credentials include a professional diploma in Conference Interpreting from Shanghai International Studies University (2008-2010) and a BA in English from Jiangxi Normal University (2000-2004). Additionally, Jiayu Li served as an assistant lecturer in the Foreign Language Department of Jiangxi Normal University from January 2005 to August 2008.
