Vijay Kant

Vijay Kant is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in real estate and corporate banking. Currently serving as Executive Director and Head of US Real Estate & Corporate Banking at United Overseas Bank Limited since June 2019, Vijay specializes in capital markets solutions for global private equity and institutional clients, with a focus on real estate lending and investment ideas. Prior to this, Vijay held various leadership roles at Scotiabank, including Director for the Real Estate, Gaming & Leisure Group, where significant accomplishments included originating $1.7 billion in loan commitments and developing key client relationships across Asia Pacific. Vijay's earlier experience includes positions at UBS Investment Bank, where Vijay managed a $5 billion loan portfolio and underwrote over $10 billion in loan participations. Vijay holds an MBA in Finance and Organizational Strategy from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School.
