Welly S. is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Foreign Exchange Trading Head at UOB since July 2023, where responsibilities include managing FX Trading and Metro desk to enhance franchise flows and revenue generation. Prior to this, Welly held the position of Treasury Trading Head at PT Bank BTPN Tbk, successfully establishing a trading desk for FX, Derivatives, and Bonds. As a co-founder and CEO of Modana, Welly developed a digital HR and Payroll platform for MSMEs. Welly's extensive career at Standard Chartered Bank spanned over 12 years, covering various roles in FX Trading and product management. Earlier experience includes working as a Financial Consultant at Citi and an internship at AIG. Welly possesses a Master’s Degree in International Business & Strategic Management from the University of Indonesia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Finance & Investment Management from Institut Bisnis Dan Informatika Indonesia.
