Jennifer (Chewning) Schmidt, MA, ACC, serves as the Director of Planning and Operations at the Simon-Skjodt Center for the Prevention of Genocide at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, where responsibilities include strategic planning and overseeing development efforts. Jennifer's experience includes advancing community partnerships as Senior Producer, and building the Public Programming division as Manager. In addition to a successful tenure at the museum starting in 2008, Jennifer founded Elysian Coaching + Consulting, specializing in coaching for professional women and consulting for women-owned businesses. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Art from Elon University.
