Andrew Wilder

Vice President, Asia Center at United States Institute of Peace

Andrew Wilder serves as the Vice President of both the Asia Center and the Center for South and Central Asia at the United States Institute of Peace since August 2010, with prior roles including Director of Afghanistan and Pakistan Programs. Earlier experience includes serving as Research Director at the Feinstein International Center at Tufts University, and Director at the Afghanistan Research and Evaluation Unit. Andrew Wilder also held roles as Field Office Director for Save the Children in Afghanistan and Pakistan, Coordinator of the Rural Assistance Program at the International Rescue Committee, and Coordinator of the Afghanistan Program at Mercy Corps. Academic qualifications include a PhD from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, a Master of Art in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School, and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
