Ian Michael Smith

Ian Michael Smith is a seasoned podcast producer and UX designer with extensive experience across multiple roles in multimedia and design. Currently serving at the United States Institute of Peace, Ian is responsible for producing and editing podcasts while previously contributing to various projects including digital content creation and website development. Ian's background includes a UX Design Fellowship at General Assembly, where over 500 hours of training were complemented by hands-on project work. With previous positions as a creative producer, industrial designer, and special education paraprofessional, Ian has cultivated a diverse skill set that includes video/audio editing, drone operation, and UX prototyping. Ian holds educational credentials from General Assembly and International House of Prayer University.
