Mark Rupnow

Mark Rupnow is an accomplished professional with over three decades of experience in environmental remediation and capital project management at United States Steel Corporation. Since April 2002, Mark has served as Senior Director of Environmental Remediation, overseeing a comprehensive portfolio of legacy environmental liabilities and leading a team of skilled environmental professionals across the United States. Previously, from 1991 to 2002, Mark held roles including Manager of Primary Steel Making Capital Projects, where leadership covered all capital work in coke, iron, and steel-making facilities, and Capital Project Manager for a significant water treatment facility project valued at $38 million. Mark holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
