Jose Loya is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in labor management, contract negotiation, and employee relations, currently serving as a Staff Representative for United Steelworkers since January 2019. With a diverse background in human resources, labor law, grievance handling, and workplace policies, Loya also has significant experience in the energy sector from Valero Energy Corporation, where positions included Firefighter & Rescue Technician and Process Safety Coordinator, focusing on compliance with OSHA standards. Previous military service in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantry Anti-Tank Missile Man complements a solid foundation in leadership and teamwork.
