Sara Abolfathi

Sara Abolfathi, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Finance at United Way Centraide Canada since February 2024. Prior to this role, Sara held various positions at Welch LLP from October 2018 to February 2024, including Manager II, Senior Staff Accountant, and Staff Accountant. Sara's experience also includes serving as a Financial Services & Small Business Advisor and Financial Services Representative at Meridian Credit Union from July 2016 to October 2018, where responsibilities encompassed providing financial advice and recommendations to personal and small business members. Educational qualifications include a CPA credential from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and advanced degrees in Financial Management from Tehran University of Economic Sciences and the University of Tehran.
