Elizabeth Jones

Elizabeth Jones is an experienced hospice chaplain currently serving at Unity Hospice in the Chicago area since January 2022, providing comfort and ministry to many individuals. In addition to this role, Elizabeth has been a pastor at St. Luke's Christian Community Church since June 2014, overseeing pastoral care and Bible study ministries. Previous positions include interim co-pastor at St. Luke's Ev. Covenant Church and caregiver at Visiting Angels. Elizabeth has also held part-time chaplain positions at Swedish Covenant Hospital and Presbyterian Homes, as well as a chaplain internship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate of Ministry in Spiritual Direction from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, a certificate in Professional Development Communication/Supportive Care from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, and a certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling from Oakton College.
