Erin Sweeney

Erin Sweeney is an accomplished professional in the mining industry, currently serving as the Area Manager Field Services at Unitywater since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles as General Manager Operations and Senior Manager Strategy and Growth at MEC Mining, where Erin managed east coast operations, led growth initiatives, and launched Geology and Geotechnical Engineering services. Previously, Erin held various technical and managerial roles at Newcrest Mining, MMG Limited, Mining One, Aditya Birla Group, BHP Billiton, and Anglo American, contributing to significant projects and optimizations. Erin holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Melbourne Business School, a Master's in Engineering Science (Mining Geomechanics) from UNSW, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Geology from the University of Wollongong.
