Sean Forney

Sean Forney is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in avionics and defense systems. Currently serving as Electrical Engineer IV at Universal Avionics since May 2018, Sean previously held the position of Principal Engineer at Honeywell from August 2011 to May 2018, where leadership was demonstrated in updating electrical designs for military aircraft systems. Prior experience includes roles at EMS Technologies, LXE, and Nordson Corporation, contributing to satellite programs, new electrical architectures, and modular hardware designs. Earlier in Sean's career, a foundation was built through a co-op position at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, focused on software development for simulation systems. Sean holds both a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
