Sumedhas R. is a seasoned professional in the music and entertainment industry, currently serving as the Label Head for Badshah, Def Jam India, Indiea Records, and FoundOut Records at Universal Music Group since July 2019. With a robust background, Sumedhas initially led marketing and strategy for VYRL Originals, overseeing end-to-end marketing for over 80 songs. Prior experience includes roles at TikTok as General Manager and Lead of Entertainment Partnerships, managing sponsorship and marketing at EVC (Enchanted Valley Carnival), and positions at Percept Ltd, where artist management and marketing were key focuses. Sumedhas also co-founded Nirvana Nomads, offering unique travel experiences, and contributed to revolutionary educational initiatives at LXL Ideas. A graduate of Bangalore University, Sumedhas possesses a deep understanding of branding and marketing dynamics in both the music and travel sectors.
