Danilo Cantero is a distinguished research fellow at Universidad de Valladolid since September 2020, drawing on significant experience in the field of biomass conversion and thermodynamic engineering. Prior to this role, Danilo served as Vice President of Research and Development, Senior Research Scientist, and Research Scientist at Renmatix from June 2015 to September 2020. Danilo also contributed as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Cornell University focusing on subcritical water hydrolysis and deoxygenation of waste biomass, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universidad de Valladolid, developing new processes for biomass hydrolysis in supercritical water. Danilo holds a PhD in Thermodynamic Engineering of Fluids with a specialization in Biorefinery from Universidad de Valladolid, and previously completed a Master’s degree in the same field, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba.
