Dr.yanet Torres

Dr. Yanet Torres is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in academia and public health. Currently serving as a Programmatic Coordinator at IntraHealth International/USAID since May 2022, Dr. Torres also holds a position as a Professor at Universidad Latina de Panamá since August 2014. Previous roles include Coordinadora de Extensión Universitaria, Professor, and Researcher at Universidad Santander - Panama from July 2017 to February 2020, as well as Professor and Researcher at Universidad de Panamá from April 2012 to December 2019. Dr. Torres has contributed as a Consultant for the Programa Nacional de ITS/VIH at the Ministry of Health from March 2006 to December 2019 and worked as a Medical Specialist at Caja de Seguro Social from January 2012 to May 2015. Educational background includes studies at Universidad de Ciencias Médicas in Cuba.
