Matheus Francisco

Matheus Francisco is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in mechanical engineering, data science, and optimization. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Universidade Federal de Itajubá, Matheus teaches courses in Industry 4.0 and Quality Engineering while also conducting research on structural optimization using simulation models and data science techniques. Additionally, Matheus is a Machine Learning and Optimization Researcher at GEMEC, focusing on experimental and computational mechanics, artificial intelligence, and optimization solutions. Previous experience includes a project management internship at DHL Supply Chain, where Matheus implemented product turnover analyses that improved picking efficiency. Matheus holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, a Master's degree in the same field, and a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, complemented by a training in Data Science.
