Ksenija Slankamenac

Ksenija Slankamenac serves as the acting director of the Institute for Emergency Medicine at Universitätsspital Zürich, where a career since November 2004 includes roles such as head of research and leading physician within the same institute. Prior experience encompasses positions as senior physician and assistant physician in various surgical specialties and intensive care at the hospital. Ksenija held a fellowship under the AMBIZIONE program at the Schweizerischer Nationalfonds from 2011 to 2015. Academically, Ksenija possesses a Venia legendi from the University of Zurich, holds a specialist certification in surgery (FMH), and earned a PhD in Epidemiology & Biostatistics from the University of Amsterdam, along with medical degrees from the University of Zurich.
