Cate Elliott

Cate Elliott currently serves as Adjointe à la direction and Coordonnatrice Principale - Recherche-Création at Université de Montréal since November 2023. Prior to this role, Cate held various positions in prominent companies within the animation and VFX industry, including Chief Production Officer and Senior Producer at Digital Dimension Entertainment Group and Producer at Mercury Filmworks®. Cate's extensive experience includes oversight of VFX and animation production, budget management, and project delivery across numerous high-profile projects such as "How To Train Your Dragon: Homecoming" and various children's animations during tenure at Tiger Aspect Productions. Educational background includes a BA in Communications from UQAM and an MA in Women's Studies from the University of York, complemented by various short courses at distinguished institutions.
