Dr. Phil. Deborah Wallrabenstein

Dr. phil. Deborah Wallrabenstein has extensive experience in communication roles, currently serving as Kommunikationsbeauftragte and Stellvertretende Leiterin Kommunikation at Universitäts-Kinderspital beider Basel (UKBB) since November 2015. Prior to this, Dr. Wallrabenstein was a Doktorandin and Wissenschaftlicher Assistentin at Universität Basel from May 2012 to December 2015. Experience also includes positions as Junior Pressereferentin and Volontärin at Verlagsgruppe Random House GmbH from May 2009 to May 2012 and freelance writing for the Zentrum für Antisemitismusforschung at TU Berlin in early 2009. Dr. Wallrabenstein holds a Ph.D. in Jewish Studies from the University of Basel and two Magister degrees in Jewish Studies and Germanistik from Hochschule für Jüdische Studien Heidelberg and Heidelberg University, respectively, along with non-degree studies in Judaic Studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
