Jonathan Seguin

Jonathan Seguin is a bioinformatician with diverse experience in the field, currently employed at University Children's Hospital Basel since January 2021. Prior to this, Jonathan worked at CNRS's LNCA from January 2017 to May 2020, conducting bioinformatics analyses focused on Huntington disease. Between February 2011 and December 2015, Jonathan held a post-doctoral position at University of Basel, where automatic reporting for differential expression of miRNAs was developed. Jonathan's academic journey includes a PhD collaboration with Fasteris SA, studying antiviral defense mechanisms in plants, and previous roles at ETH Zurich and IGBMC, where microarray data analysis and software development for protein interaction mapping took place. Jonathan holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Bioinformatics and Structural Genomics, enhancing a strong foundation in cellular biology and genetics.
