Kenneth A. Stone

Kenneth A. Stone, PMP, currently serves as a Project Manager at NCAR since September 2009. Prior to this role, Kenneth worked as a Sr. System Engineer at Earth Resources Technology from January 2005 to September 2009, contributing to the Systems Engineering, Integration, Test, and Operations team while collaborating with Ground Segment personnel and contractors to develop solutions for stakeholders. Kenneth also held the position of Data Manager and Software Team Lead at the University of Colorado Center for Lower Atmospheric Studies from March 1998 to December 2004, overseeing a NASA-funded data processing system's development, including planning and risk management. Earlier in Kenneth's career, from 1992 to 1998, Kenneth worked as a Scientific Programmer at GATS, Inc., designing software for satellite remote sensing at NASA Langley Research Center. Kenneth earned a Master of Science in Atmospheric Science from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Eastern Oregon University.
