Michael McPherson

Michael McPherson is a seasoned physician with extensive experience in both outpatient and inpatient medicine, serving as an attending physician at UMC Internal Medicine Clinic since July 1999. In addition to their medical practice, McPherson has been the owner of the Sandhills Trolley Company since June 2023, an entertainment business based in Southern Pines. Furthermore, since May 2015, Michael has operated EXTENDED CARE SERVICES, providing medical care to IPR/SNF/LTC patients and serving as Medical Director for multiple facilities. McPherson holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Texas Tech University.
