Stacey Torman

Stacey Torman has extensive experience in athletic performance and strength conditioning, currently serving as Vice President at the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) since July 2016. At the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Torman has held multiple roles since December 1990, including Director of Athletic Performance for Olympic Sports, where leadership focuses on enhancing the physical and mental well-being of UAB student-athletes and fostering collaboration across various units. Previous roles at UAB include Assistant Director of Athletic Performance, where responsibilities involved managing budgets and designing performance programs for multiple sports, and Director of Olympic Sports Performance. Torman has also contributed to the CSCCa as a member of the Board of Directors since May 2005. Educational credentials include a Master of Education in Exercise Physiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Technology from Texas A&M University.
