Tom Ravens

Tom Ravens is a Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Alaska, a position held since June 2007. Previously, Tom served as an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University from January 2000 to May 2007, focusing on engineering at the Galveston branch. Tom's academic background includes a PhD in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed between 1991 and 1997, as well as a Master of Engineering in Engineering Sciences and dual undergraduate degrees—a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Sciences—from Dartmouth College.
