Gadi Rothenberg

Gadi Rothenberg is a distinguished Professor and Chair at the University of Amsterdam since September 2001. Rothenberg has extensive experience in academia and industry, including roles as a Research Fellow and Associate Professor at the ORGANIC REACTIONS CATALYSIS SOCIETY INC, and as a Board Member for PLANTICS B.V., a company co-founded by Rothenberg that specializes in biodegradable plastics. As a co-founder and workshop instructor of the 'Write it Right' project, Rothenberg contributed to the training of over 3200 PhD students and postdocs in scientific writing. Additional notable positions include serving as the Lady Davis Visiting Professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and as a Senior Visiting Scholar at Fudan University. Rothenberg holds a PhD in Applied Chemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, awarded summa cum laude, along with MSc and BSc degrees in Applied Chemistry and Chemistry, respectively.
