Shreyas Gadge is a Master's Thesis Student at IISER Mohali, focusing on the dynamics of threshold-activated predator dispersal in spatially extended ecological systems since July 2022. Previous experience includes a summer internship at the Institut de la Vision where Shreyas worked on a cortical connectivity model related to expectancy signals in rats, and a research internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras that involved optimizing a multi-scale biophysical model of excitotoxic loss of dopaminergic cells in Parkinson's Disease. Additional internships include a project on the application of quantum probability to cognition at Poornaprajna Institute of Scientific Research and a summer internship at IISER Mohali focused on the theoretical understanding of quantum many-body systems. Shreyas obtained a BS-MS dual degree in Physics from IISER Mohali and has academic roots at Dr. Ambedkar College, Nagpur, and Narayana Vidyalayam.
