Wolfgang Hochleitner

Wolfgang Hochleitner is a Senior Researcher at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria - Hagenberg Campus, focusing on social, co-located, and large display games within the Playful Interactive Environments research group since February 2007. In addition to research, Wolfgang Hochleitner holds a position as an Assistant Lecturer, teaching hypermedia and games while supervising student projects and theses. Previous experience includes serving as a Lab-Assistant at Aalborg University from November 2006 to January 2007, and an internship at Comneon, where Wolfgang Hochleitner developed mobile games utilizing the APOXI framework in 2004. Wolfgang Hochleitner earned a PhD in Human Computer Interaction from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg (2013-2023), a Master of Science in Digital Media from Hagenberg Campus - FH Upper Austria (2004-2006), and a Bachelor of Science in Media Technology and Design from the same institution (2001-2004).
