Eseosa Iyagbaye

Eseosa Iyagbaye, PharmD, serves as an Intern Pharmacist at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital since May 2023. As the Founder and Executive Director of Chronic Disease Mate for Africa, Eseosa works to combat chronic and non-communicable diseases in Africa. Additional roles include Team Lead at AuxiChron Health, Program Manager at Mind The Climate, and Young Health Scholar at AstraZeneca. Eseosa is also a One Young World Ambassador, recognized for participation in the summit in Manchester, and a ONE Champion for The ONE Campaign, promoting initiatives against extreme poverty and preventable diseases in Nigeria and Africa. Furthermore, Eseosa was a top finalist in the BeChangemaker Africa competition and a YLP Fellow with LEAP Africa. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Pharmacy degree earned from the University of Benin in January 2023 and secondary education completed at University Preparatory Secondary School in 2014.
