Graham Timmins

Graham Timmins is a seasoned academic in the field of International Politics, currently serving as a Professor at the University of Birmingham since June 2012. Timmins holds multiple leadership roles, including Postgraduate Director (Taught Programmes), Interim Director of Education for the College of Social Sciences, and is a former Reader and Senior Lecturer in the same discipline. Additionally, Timmins has been a Visiting Professor in European Politics at the University of California San Diego since July 2004. Previous positions include Professor and Director of Learning and Teaching at the University of Stirling, with a focus on European Integration Studies, as well as various academic roles at the University of Huddersfield and Glasgow Caledonian University. Timmins' educational background includes a BA (Hons) in Russian and Soviet Studies from the University of Portsmouth, an MPhil in Soviet and East European Studies from the University of Glasgow, and a PhD in Political Science from The University of Huddersfield.
