Rita Yembilah

Rita Yembilah currently serves as a Board Member of the CF Ethics Review Board and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary, where involvement began in July 2018. In addition, Rita holds leadership roles as Board Chair at the Institute of Peace and Development and Vice Chair at the Institute for Rural Education And Development since 2020, alongside being a Board Member of the Canadian Evaluation Society. As a Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant for the Institute for Peace and Development and a Senior Researcher/Evaluator at Ambrose University, Rita brings extensive research and evaluation experience. Previous roles include Director of Community at WINS and Lecturer at Mount Royal University. Rita obtained a PhD in Resource Conflicts and International Development, a Master of Arts in Environmental Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Geography, Sociology, and Political Science from esteemed institutions.
