Lisa Schoonerman

Lisa Schoonerman is a seasoned communications and training professional with extensive experience in educational and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Communications and Training at the University of California, San Francisco since April 2012, Lisa has held multiple leadership roles including Associate Director Training, Director of Online Education, and Senior Program Manager. Prior to this, Lisa co-founded and served as CEO of vibrantBrains from February 2007 to March 2012, and contributed to product development at the Continuing Education of the Bar from 2003 to 2006. Earlier, Lisa was the Editorial Director at Sweet & Maxwell between 2000 and 2003. Educationally, Lisa holds a Master of Arts in Professional Communication from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from St. Bonaventure University.
